1. Who we are
Sanderson Software Studio is an independent software studio operated by Bryan Sanderson in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Privacy questions may be sent to support@sandersonsoftwarestudio.com.
2. Website information
This website does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies in its current release. Its hosting service may process standard request and security logs—such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps—to deliver and protect the site.
3. Inquiries, support, and play testing
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, pet or business details, project goals, screenshots, and correspondence. The joining steps can be used without submitting an email address. If you request emailed instructions, we collect your Google Play email, selected app or game, adult/contact confirmation, and first and most recent signup times. When automatic email is enabled, requesting instructions also requests a copy of the testing instructions. We record the send attempt time and whether our email service accepted the message. A signup records interest, not verified Google Group membership, Google Play enrollment, or installation. If you submit a tester check-in on the Testers’ Page or a game page, we collect the selected app or game, tester name, Google Play email, optional device information, optional feedback, first and most recent check-in times, number of check-ins, and whether you separately chose to hear about future Sanderson Software Studio tests. Repeat submissions update your private record for that game; your latest non-empty feedback and device details replace earlier entries. Signups, check-ins, and invitation requests are intended for adults and parents managing a child’s test. No public tester profiles are created. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, credentials, or other sensitive information.
Remembered guide progress
We save the selected app and current guide step in your browser so you can return after visiting Google. Saved guide state expires after 30 days; you can use “Start over” or clear your browser’s website data. We also record a random guide identifier, selected app, most advanced link opening or self-reported step, and timestamps to find problems in the joining flow. If you request emailed instructions, that guide may be linked to your private signup. These stages do not verify Google Group membership or Google Play enrollment.
4. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and support requests.
- Maintain private signup records and a roster of self-confirmed play testers and understand which Android devices participated.
- Review test feedback and contact a tester about the current test when reasonably needed.
- Contact a tester about future Sanderson Software Studio tests only when that separate option was selected.
- Evaluate whether a personalized game, display system, or website project is a suitable fit.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- Keep reasonable business records and improve our services.
5. Sharing and retention
We use Resend to send requested testing instructions, optional app-specific reminders, tester feedback alerts, and contact-form messages. Tester check-in details are emailed to the studio’s support mailbox so the owner can respond. Reminder emails are sent only when the separate reminder option is selected, around days 4 and 12 after the first reported installation. They include a stop link and are separate from future-test contact consent. Queued message bodies are cleared after seven days once completed; delivery queue records expire after 90 days. Resend processes email addresses, message contents, and delivery information. When you use the contact form, your name, reply email, optional company or venue, and message are sent to our contact mailbox. We use short-lived sending counters and keyed hashes of addresses and connection information to limit abuse; these counters expire within 32 days and do not contain the message body. Contact messages are not stored in the tester roster. We may also use service providers for website hosting, database storage, email, and business operations, and may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. Tester signups and confirmations are retained during the applicable test and for up to 12 months afterward unless the tester requests earlier deletion or a longer period is reasonably required for security or legal purposes. Joining the linked Google Group is a separate action on Google’s service. Google Group owners and managers can see member email addresses. Google’s group settings control whether other members can see membership details. Google applies its own privacy policy to its services. Other correspondence is retained as reasonably needed for its inquiry, support, security, accounting, or legal purpose, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.
6. Your choices
You can stop reminder emails using the link in either reminder. This does not leave the Google Group or a Google Play test. You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted by emailing support@sandersonsoftwarestudio.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited records where required by law.
7. App-specific policies
Apps may process different information. Their permanent policy URLs are maintained separately so each policy can evolve with that product. See the Pete & Jack: Laser Room Privacy Policy, Frankie’s Run Privacy Policy, Double Bingo! Privacy Policy, QuickBudget Privacy Policy, and Poker WinRate Privacy Policy.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the website or inquiry process changes. The updated date will appear above. Contact: Sanderson Software Studio, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States · support@sandersonsoftwarestudio.com.
