Poker WinRate Privacy Policy
This policy covers Poker WinRate, including its Free and Pro modes, in the current RC15 beta. Local tracking works without an account.
Current beta: session records stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. Google test advertising can process device and usage information. Cloud accounts, cloud backup and paid checkout are not enabled in this build.
Who operates the app
Poker WinRate is developed by Sanderson Software Studio, operated by Bryan Sanderson in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. For privacy questions or requests, email support@sandersonsoftwarestudio.com.
Records stored on your device
The app stores the session dates, durations, cash-game and tournament results, buy-ins, cash-outs and other amounts you enter. Optional details can include your report name, venue, stakes, poker variant, expenses, awards, withholding, tags, notes and document references. Settings, unfinished drafts, live-timer information, adult confirmation and advertising privacy choices are also stored locally.
We use these records to calculate summaries, show your history, restore drafts and produce requested reports. They are stored in the app's private data area with Android access controls. App-managed automatic Android backup is disabled; you can make a manual JSON backup. The current beta does not send your poker log to Sanderson Software Studio or a cloud account, and does not send it to an AI service.
Backups, reports and files you select
A requested report first opens in the app's reader. It is written to a destination only when you choose Save or Print. A real report or JSON backup can contain your financial entries, report name and notes. The sample report uses a fictional player and fictional figures.
You select files for backup, restore or CSV import through Android's file picker. If you choose a cloud drive, printer or another provider as the destination, that provider handles the copy under its own policies. Deleting app logs does not remove exported backups, PDFs, CSV packages, print output or copies you have shared.
Google advertising and consent
Free mode can show an app-opening advertisement on a fresh launch and a banner on Home. The beta uses Google test ad units. Test advertisements still communicate with Google services. Pro testing mode suppresses these app advertisements.
Google AdMob's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share the following information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:
- IP address: this may be used to estimate approximate location.
- Device and account identifiers: advertising ID, app set ID and, where applicable, other identifiers related to accounts signed in on the device.
- App and ad interactions: events such as app launches, taps and video views.
- Diagnostic information: app and SDK performance, such as launch time, hang rate and energy usage.
Google's User Messaging Platform handles applicable advertising consent requests and privacy choices. Data handling can vary with region, device controls and consent. The app does not attach your poker results, venue, notes or report name to advertising requests for targeting.
Open Settings gear → Ad Choices to review the Google privacy form when available, or visit our Ad Choices page. Android settings also provide advertising-ID controls. See Google's Privacy Policy, Google's advertising information and Google's SDK data disclosure.
Support and beta diagnostics
If you contact us, we receive the contact information, issue details and files you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, investigate problems and improve the app. Email and support providers may process that correspondence. Use fictional or redacted financial figures in screenshots where possible.
The beta can record crash diagnostics locally, including app/version information and error details. These local diagnostics are not automatically uploaded to our servers. Information you choose to send to support becomes part of your support request.
Sharing and security
Google receives advertising and consent information as described above. We do not sell your poker records or publish your log. Support providers receive information needed to deliver and handle requests. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, prevent abuse or maintain security.
Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. The app disables cleartext network traffic. Android protects the app's private storage, but no storage or transmission method is perfectly secure. Exported files are protected by the destination and controls you choose.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you use Settings gear → Backup/Restore → Delete Logs, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall it. Delete Logs removes local sessions, live timers and unfinished entries while keeping configuration and access settings. Clear app storage removes those remaining local settings too.
Support correspondence is retained as reasonably needed to handle the request and meet security, accounting or legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. You can request deletion by emailing the address above; we may need to verify your request and will explain any information that must be retained.
Google handles retention of information it receives under its own policies. Advertising-ID and Google privacy controls are linked on our Ad Choices page. Delete exported or printed copies separately. Follow the data-deletion instructions for the available controls.
Accounts and purchases
The current beta has no working online account creation, cloud synchronization or paid checkout. It does not collect an account password or payment-card details for these disabled features. Planned cloud and purchase features will require updated disclosures before they are enabled.
Adults, privacy requests and policy changes
The app is intended for adults 18 and older. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us, contact support. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information. Contact support@sandersonsoftwarestudio.com; we may request limited information to verify ownership.
We will update this page when the app's data practices change and provide additional notice where appropriate. Visiting the studio website or sending a website inquiry is covered separately by the SSS Website Privacy Policy.
