FRANKIE'S RUN
Privacy policy
Effective and last updated: September 22, 2026
Your trails, scores, and settings stay on your device. There is no game account, chat, cloud save, or purchase system. Google AdMob processes information when providing advertising, including demo advertising in test builds. We use protective ad settings for players under 18 and players whose age is unknown.
1. Who publishes the game
Frankie's Run is published by Sanderson Software Studio, operated by Bryan Sanderson in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. This policy covers the Android app with package name com.sandersonsoftware.frankiesrun. For support or privacy requests, email sandersonsoftwarestudio@gmail.com.
2. Information kept on your device
The game saves unlocked trails and friends, stars, best scores, snack totals, tour medals, tutorial status, sound settings, and an advertising age category. This information is not uploaded to a game server. The app disables its Android backup and transfer participation. We do not operate a cloud-save or account-recovery service.
On the age screen, birth month and year are used only to choose an age category. The entered month and year are then discarded; they are not stored or sent to the studio or advertising service. Only the category—under 18, adult, or unknown—is retained locally. Age-treatment flags based on that category are supplied to the advertising services. The game does not automatically update the category as a player gets older.
3. Advertising and consent
The app includes Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). These services can process IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, ad and app interaction information, diagnostic and performance information, and privacy choices. They use this information to deliver and measure advertising, operate and secure their services, and prevent fraud. Applicable age settings, consent choices, device controls, and ad-serving mode affect what is processed.
We do not request GPS location, contacts, microphone, camera, photographs, or phone numbers. There is no separate game analytics service. The studio may receive aggregate advertising reports; it does not receive a copy of the raw birth information or maintain a player profile on a game server.
When required, UMP presents advertising privacy choices. You can reopen those choices from Settings when the advertising service requires that option. If consent setup fails or an ad cannot be loaded, the game remains playable without that ad. Google describes its practices in its Privacy Policy and information about partner apps. Advertising data is transmitted using encrypted connections. Test ads do not earn revenue and are not a claim of zero data processing.
4. Children and unknown ages
The game is intended for school-age children, teenagers, and adults. A neutral age screen provides a “Prefer not to say” option. All game content remains available regardless of the answer. Under-18 and unknown categories use child-directed and under-age ad settings, nonpersonalized ads, and a general-audience ad-content ceiling. Adult treatment starts only after the entire eighteenth-birthday month has passed. A parent or adult can review the saved category in Parents & adults.
We do not ask children to submit names, email addresses, profiles, photos, or other personal content in the game. Support and tester correspondence is intended for adults. If a parent believes a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. The age screen and the adult-area arithmetic prompt are not identity verification or parental-consent verification.
5. Support and external links
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use them to respond, investigate problems, and handle privacy requests. Our email provider processes that correspondence. We retain support correspondence while needed to resolve the request and maintain necessary records, then delete it when no longer needed. You may ask us to delete your correspondence, subject to obligations to retain relevant records.
Opening a website, an email application, or an advertisement takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. The studio website's website privacy policy applies to browsing and any tester information you submit there. The game's Parents & adults area groups its website and support links.
6. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local progress remains until you reset it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Reset game progress in Settings clears game achievements; it does not erase separate advertising privacy settings. Clear all app storage through Android Settings to remove all locally stored game and SDK settings. Uninstalling or clearing storage loses your progress, and the studio cannot restore it.
You can review player age in Parents & adults, manage advertising privacy choices where offered, and use Android's advertising-ID controls. Google determines retention for information it processes according to its policies and your settings. Contact the studio about information you sent us; use Google's privacy controls for data held by Google. We do not claim that resetting the game deletes previously processed advertising data.
The game itself does not sell player records. Advertising-related processing by Google may be treated differently under privacy laws in your location; applicable choices are presented through the advertising privacy tools. The service providers may process information outside your country.
7. Security and policy changes
We limit the information the game requests and keep progress local. No security measure can guarantee complete protection. If the game's practices change, we will update this policy and its date and provide any additional notice required. Contact sandersonsoftwarestudio@gmail.com with questions or requests.
