QUICKBUDGET · PRIVACY
Your budget. Your choices.
This policy covers the released manual monthly budgeting app, its advertising, and optional Ad-Free subscriptions. Statement uploads and AI processing have been retired. The website does not accept subscription payments.
Who provides QuickBudget
QuickBudget is provided by Sanderson Software Studio, operated by Bryan Sanderson in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Contact support@sandersonsoftwarestudio.com for privacy questions or data requests.
The app organizes information you enter. It does not connect to your bank, ask for bank passwords, move money, or require a separate QuickBudget account.
Your budget stays on your device
Balances, income, expenses, schedules, and saved budget history are stored in encrypted app-private storage. Manual entry and budget calculations do not send those entries to our service or an AI provider. Android automatic cloud backup of this app data is disabled.
You choose where to save an exported budget backup. That file may be accessible to the storage provider or people with access to your chosen destination. Deleting the app’s budget does not delete separately exported copies. Keep your device and backup files protected.
Subscription verification
Google Play handles payments. When checking or restoring ad-free access, the app sends a Google Play purchase token to our service so it can verify the subscription with Google. The service does not ask for payment-card details or save raw purchase tokens in its usage ledger. Google Play shows the price and billing period before purchase.
An active, verified Ad-Free subscription removes the opening and Today banner ads. Previously verified access can remain available offline until its recorded expiry. Expiry or revocation ends the entitlement after verification. Earlier verified Plus subscriptions retain their ad-removal benefit until paid expiry; new Plus subscriptions are not offered.
Advertising and privacy choices
The free app uses Google AdMob for an opening ad during a fresh launch and a banner on Today, subject to availability and applicable privacy choices. The advertising SDK may process IP address and approximate location, device identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostics to deliver, measure, and protect advertising. QuickBudget does not supply your budget entries as ad-targeting data.
Use Settings → Privacy and ad choices for the choices available in your location and session. See Google’s privacy policy. Manual budgeting works offline; advertising and online subscription verification use an internet connection.
Information from earlier statement-processing versions
The current app and service no longer accept new statement uploads or make AI processing requests. Earlier optional processing sent user-selected financial documents to the QuickBudget service and OpenAI under the policy in effect at that time. Retiring the feature does not itself erase records already held by service providers.
Legacy extracted recovery copies have a 24-hour access limit from the processing attempt’s start. The existing scheduled cleanup removes expired copies; physical removal can occur later if cleanup is delayed or fails. Legacy usage counters and hashed billing-period, request, and document references remain subject to scheduled deletion 90 days after the verified billing-period expiry, or 90 days after the end of the UTC day for daily service-use records. A verified period extension can move that deadline.
Provider retention controls apply separately to information previously processed. See OpenAI’s privacy information. Contact us for help with a request concerning earlier service records.
Deletion and other choices
Use Settings → Start over to remove the local plan and history. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling also removes local app data. Delete exported backups separately from the location where you saved them.
Deleting local data or uninstalling does not cancel a Google Play subscription or automatically delete support correspondence or separate service records. Manage subscriptions through Google Play.
For support information or service-record requests, email support@sandersonsoftwarestudio.com. We may request limited information, such as a Google Play order reference, to verify the request and identify applicable records. Do not email passwords, purchase tokens, complete statements, or payment-card details. See data-request instructions.
Support messages, security, and changes
If you contact the studio, we receive your email address and what you choose to include. We use it to respond and keep it as reasonably needed for support, security, and legal records. Website hosting and correspondence are also covered by the studio website privacy policy. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.
Device encryption and encrypted connections reduce risk; no service or backup location can be guaranteed secure. QuickBudget is intended for adult personal budgeting and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information.
We will update this page when data practices change and show a new publication date.
