A little help getting started.

Make your first plan

1. Update your money available. Check your accounts separately and enter the money you have available for the plan.
2. Add take-home income. Enter the amount, next date, and repeat schedule.
3. Add bills and everyday spending. Check each amount, due date, and repeat schedule.
4. Open Today. Review your month, money available, and upcoming items. Keep entries current as plans change.

All budgeting features are available for free. No bank connection or separate QuickBudget account is required.

Understand your month and money available

The monthly outlook compares the income and expenses you have planned for the selected calendar month. A positive difference shows what your plan could leave after expenses. If planned expenses are higher, the app suggests a small adjustment that could help close the gap.

Money available is a separate figure that you keep up to date. When you mark an item paid or received, choose whether it is already included in that balance so it is not counted twice. Check-offs remain part of the monthly totals.

These figures use your entries. They do not check bank settlement times or pay bills for you. Update the plan when an amount, payment date, or your real available money changes.

Save and restore a budget backup

Open Settings → Backup and restore to save a copy of your budget or restore a saved backup. Keep the file somewhere you control. This is a budget backup, rather than a bank-statement or spreadsheet import.

Save a backup before clearing app storage, changing phones, or uninstalling. Your budget is stored locally, so uninstalling can remove it. Exported copies remain wherever you saved them until you delete them separately.

Ad removal, restore, and cancellation

An optional monthly or yearly Ad-Free subscription removes the opening and Today banner ads while active. Google Play shows your local price and billing period before you confirm. Ads and subscription verification require an internet connection; manual budgeting works offline.

Use Restore subscription in Settings with the Google account that made the purchase. An expired subscription cannot be restored as active. Check its status in Google Play if the result is unexpected.

Use Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings or open Google Play subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewal; ad removal continues to the verified paid expiry unless revoked sooner. Uninstalling the app or deleting a budget does not cancel billing.

Moving from an earlier version

The released app focuses on manual monthly budgeting. Statement uploads, spreadsheet and CSV imports, AI features, and new Plus purchases have been retired. Existing saved budgets are retained when updating the app.

If you have an earlier Plus subscription, its verified ad-removal benefit is honored until paid expiry. Check Google Play to manage or cancel that subscription; updating the app does not cancel it automatically. Contact support if you need help with an earlier purchase.

Delete data or ask a privacy question

Use Settings → Start over to remove the local budget. Save a backup first if you want to keep a copy. Delete exported backups separately. Local deletion does not cancel a subscription or automatically erase support correspondence and separate service records.

Email support@sandersonsoftwarestudio.com with “QuickBudget data request” as the subject. Describe the information involved and approximately when you used the service or contacted us. We will explain what limited information is needed to handle your request. Do not send bank statements, passwords, purchase tokens, or card details.

Report a problem

Tell us your app version, Android version, device model, what you expected, and what happened. Include the wording of any error. Use fictional amounts or redact personal details in screenshots.
